A classic machine, further refined!
The Temple of Gainz Plate-Loaded Iso-Lateral Xpload Lat Pulldown V2 is a modern plate-loaded take on a staple upper-body movement, designed to deliver smooth, powerful lat engagement with the mechanical efficiency and feel that defined the classic machine that inspired it.
Built for serious training environments, the Xpload Lat Pulldown emphasizes natural pulling mechanics, balanced unilateral loading, and a resistance profile that rewards proper execution.
The preorder price includes a $400 discount and is charged in full. Beginning February 1, 2026, the price will be $2,799 Please note that orders cancelled before fulfillment are subject to a non-refundable 3% payment processing fee.
What’s new in Version 2:
Version 2 focuses on improving ergonomics, loading flexibility, and resistance curve control.
The center grip handle positioning has been revised to a more vertical orientation, providing a stronger, more secure grip during unilateral work. This change makes single-arm lat work feel more natural and controlled, especially under heavier loads.
Version 2 also adds a second weight horn assembly, with an additional loading position. This allows you to:
-
Increase overall loading capacity
-
Shift more resistance toward the start of the movement
-
Better match the strength curve of the lats, where you are strongest early in the pull
The result is a more customizable resistance profile and a machine that scales cleanly, regardless if you are focused on controlled hypertrophy work to heavy strength-focused sets.
Iso-lateral mechanics, buttery smooth feel
Independent arms allow for true unilateral or bilateral training, helping address left-to-right imbalances and promote balanced lat development over time.
The plate-loaded design delivers direct, predictable resistance, where each rep feels consistent, controlled, and mechanically honest.
The adjustable seat and knee roller heights provide a stable seat position to keep you locked in so you can focus entirely on driving the pull through your lats, upper back, and teres.
Key features:
-
Iso-lateral independent arms with naturally articulating handles
-
Heavy-duty steel construction with premium bearings and components
-
Revised vertical handle positioning for improved unilateral grip
-
Dual weight horn assemblies for higher loading capacity
-
Adjustable loading position to manipulate the resistance curve
-
Smooth, consistent tension throughout the pull
-
Plate-loaded design using standard Olympic plates with two storage horns and up to 120 kg / 265 lb of loading capacity per side on movement arms
From great to Xcellent!
Version 1 delivered a legendary foundation. Version 2 refines the details that matter most in with resistance curve control, loading flexibility, and improved ergonomics.
If you are looking for a plate-loaded lat pulldown that feels powerful, balanced, and mechanically correct, the Temple of Gainz Xpload Lat Pulldown V2 delivers a modern execution of a classic movement.
Assembly Expectations
Temple of Gainz selectorized machines are heavy-duty, commercial-grade equipment designed for serious training, and they require proper tools and at least two people for assembly.
These are not flat-packed or lightweight items; they arrive crated and disassembled, and are built for heavy duty use and demand time and effort to set up correctly. We provide detailed assembly manuals for every model, but please be prepared for the process.
Although the majority of our customers are able to assemble the machines themselves, if you are not experienced with equipment that involves bearings, guide rods, weight stacks, and/or heavy frames, we strongly recommend hiring a local fitness equipment technician.
Companies such as Fitness Machine Technicians typically charge $200 to $400 per machine, which can save you 2 to 6+ hours, depending on your tools and experience.
Please note that we do not offer assembly services outside of the Los Angeles area, as hiring locally is usually faster and more cost-effective, and we prefer to pass those savings on to you!
